For the MTV VMA’s last year, we shot Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj, Eminem and Drake over the course of two weeks for the VMA ad campaigns. In the Justin Bieber and Eminem shots, we knew that the best way to achieve the final concept was to shoot the subject and background separately. This…

Ellsbury, Red Sox split squad beat Cardinals 8-7
For those that don’t know I am a huge Red Sox fan. And while this is a photo blog, I would like to use the forum to delve into some other areas that interest me. I will leave the politics and the views on Charlie Sheen at the door, but the Red Sox and their relationship to the rest of Major League Baseball and in particular the New York Yankees is a prime candidate of further discussion.
Which brings me to the point. I placed a bet with an over zealous Yankee fan that Jacoby Ellsbury will never play another regular season game with the Boston Red Sox. This was based on my general feeling of his relationship with management and ownership, his continued adeptness at injuring himself, and what I deemed to be his replacement at the top of the order by Carl Crawford. Seems to me though, that with each passing spring workout and split squad I might be coming closer to paying on that debt of one case of Diet Sprite.

Hey folks - head over to Maestro Steven Mercurio’s website to view one of my shots from the Sting Symphonicity Tour. The shot is used as the main image on his website. Maestro Steven Mercurio has conducted more than 65 operas in seven different languages all over the world and has worked with award winning artists like the Three Tenors, Andrea Bocelli, and Sting. More live music photography here.
